Note:
1. If a title receives less than eight registrations for the online stage / eight check-ins on the LAN event day, the ranked status of that title will be removed. (based on SLESA rule)
2. If a title receives less than five registrations or if fewer than five registered participants actually participate in the online stage/check-in and participate on the LAN event day, that title will not be held (it will be canceled, and the ranked status will also be removed).
3. Sri Lankans living abroad cannot take part in this tournament.
Ranked Tournament by Sri Lanka Esports
Play Expo 2024 has been recognised as a “Ranked Tournament” by the Sri Lanka Esports Association – the governing body for Esports in Sri Lanka. The results of the ranked gaming titles will contribute to the national player rankings. This provides great opportunities for local players who – based on their performance and subsequent ranking – could be eligible for national Esports team roster consideration.
Colombo Comic Expo (CCX)
Sri Lanka’s Pop Culture & Cosplay Festival
The Colombo Comic Expo is the annual gathering for Sri Lankan’s to celebrate pop-culture, comic books, tv, movies, music, video games & cosplay. A melting pot of all entertainment genres combined – the largest of it’s kind in the country.
Sri Lanka’s Largest Cosplay Carnival
Since introducing Cosplay to Sri Lanka in 2013, the Colombo Comic Expo has now become the major Cosplay attraction in the country with over 150 Cosplayers walking the expo last time. CCx attracts Sri Lanka’s best cosplayers who save their best Cosplay for the event, and perform some of the most entertaining & complex skits on stage.
